Our Mission

Math, Engineering, and Science Academy (MESA) Charter High School will provide a rigorous education that equips each student with the ability to succeed in life and in college. MESA students will develop a passion for science, technology, engineering and mathematics through an intensive college readiness program, develop critical thinking and self-advocacy.

Objective

MESA graduates will internalize the connection between academic excellence, perseverance, and economic opportunity, empowering them to assert control over their professional futures.

About MESA
Rigorous Academics

Through our mastery-based grading system, students receive a rigorous education, equipping them with the tools to succeed in college, career, and beyond. Research shows that students who enter college with credits are more likely to graduate. With CLEP, AP, and College Now, students can accumulate college credit early.

Experiential Learning

We believe that learning outside of the classroom is just as important as within. From intersession programming to trips abroad to over 25 extracurricular clubs and sports, our students have many opportunities to grow their skills and leadership through enrichment experiences.

Career Connected Learning

MESA prepares students for the transition to post-secondary success in college and workforce training. Our goal is for every student to have a financially sustainable and personally meaningful career. We work hard to connect our students with internships, workplace tours, and residential college programs and we continue to support our alumni after they graduate.

Families As Partners

MESA understands the enormous responsibility it has to parents, and understands equally the importance of parents in their children’s education. MESA believes that all parents and caregivers are deeply invested in their child’s success; the school enlists parents and guardians as critical partners in the achievement of its mission.
