Intersession

Each school year, during the school breaks in February and April, MESA offers enrichment programming and remediation classes.  This non-traditional instructional time is called “Intersession.”  MESA teachers and outside partners lead Intersession classes which are optional for all students except those who are struggling academically and thus may be required to attend.

Intersession gives students the chance to take classes that are not available in the regular school year schedule and to explore opportunities outside of MESA, such as job shadowing, internships and volunteerism.
